Dr. Janet Lee is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with a private practice in Howard County, Maryland. She graduated with honors from Princeton University with a bachelor's degree in molecular biology. After college, she obtained a law degree from Harvard Law School and practiced law for several years before realizing that her true passion was psychiatry. She then received her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She stayed at Johns Hopkins for residency training and served as chief resident during her last year of residency.

Dr. Lee is dedicated to providing excellent psychiatric care to her outpatients. In her practice she aims to come to a careful diagnosis and to work with her patients to help them build hope, feel understood, and feel better. Dr. Lee's practice combines psychiatric medications and psychotherapy, and she has experience in treating outpatients with a broad range of psychiatric conditions. She has a particular interest in mood disorders such as major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder. She is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Maryland and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Maryland Psychiatric Society. She is currently accepting new patients ages 16 and above.
